“This business is phenomenal, from start to finish faultless. Duane the designer is so on point, communication is very good, and the two lads who fitted were so good.”
Kibria R. via Google
“We got a beautiful door made by Beechhall, it is absolutely stunning and we are so happy with it. The craftsmanship and skill is second to none, as is their service.”
Alice via Google
“I had 10 single-glazed sashes replaced with double-glazed sashes in the original boxes. James didn't oversell, and was clear what the impacts would be. Really pleased.”

How it works

Designed with you, made by us

One team from the first drawing to the final coat of paint. You deal with the people who make your door.

1

Design & measure

Come to the Hackney Road showroom or have us survey on site. We draw up the style, glass and colour with you and price it clearly.

2

Made in the workshop

Your door or windows are machined, joined, glazed and sprayed by hand in our own workshop, not ordered in from a factory.

3

Fitted & finished

Our fitters install it clean and square, seal it against the weather, and leave the job tidy. Out-of-hours fits arranged where needed.

About Beechhall

The East London Door Company

Beechhall Joinery is a family-run workshop and showroom on Hackney Road, making bespoke timber doors and windows for homes across East London and beyond. Front doors are our craft, box sash windows our second nature.

Because everything is made in-house, we can match a period detail, cut a one-off shape, or build in slim double glazing without losing the look of the original. Come and see the timber and glass before you commit.

“We visited the workshop to discuss what we were after, and what we got is beyond what we hoped for.”

Questions we hear a lot

Do you make everything yourselves?
Yes. Doors and windows are designed, machined, joined, glazed and sprayed by hand in our own Hackney Road workshop. Nothing is bought in as a finished unit, which is why we can match a period detail or a one-off shape.
Can I get double glazing in a traditional sash?
Often, yes. We can build new sashes with slim double glazing into the existing boxes, keeping the look of the original window while cutting draughts and noise. We will tell you honestly what will and will not work for your window.
Do you work on conservation-area and listed homes?
We regularly make joinery to traditional profiles for period and conservation-area properties across East London. Bring us the detail you need to match and we will make to suit.
What colours and glass can I have?
Any colour you like, matched to RAL or a heritage range and sprayed in-house. For glass we make new leaded and stained panels or restore your originals. Have a play with the finish preview above, then bring us the exact shade.
How do I get a price?
Call 020 8523 4448 or email info@beechhalljoinery.co.uk with a photo and rough sizes, or visit the showroom. We will talk it through and give you a clear quote.
